     Summary / TLDR Version;
    If you're still flying the ACAB hashtag today, I see you as a crazy nutjob who is just as bad as an anarchist I once knew that wanted people to die for just choosing a specific job. Cops may not be always good, but they aren't all bad either, and they have room for improvement.

    Hash Tag; 
    I really can't figure out why people are still flying this hash tag on their profiles on various sites. This is the dumbest fucking tag I've ever seen, created by a bunch of extreme left wing nutjobs who just want to hate on something just because they thrive on hate. I had pretty much forgotten about this tag till I saw it again, this time on Bluesky.

Honestly, "All Cops Are Bad" is a very bigoted "racist" type flag, its pure hate against a group of people just because something bad happened somewhere by a few bad cops. You'd call me racist if I said all blacks are bad, right? Just because a black guy somewhere did something bad to someone, does that mean I should believe all are bad? No. No it doesn't. So why is it okay to say all cops are bad?

I once had a friend, an extreme anarchist friend who was actually rather dangerous. She was abusive towards her husband, she bought hormone drugs illegally, and she liked the idea of millions of people dying because it'd be fun to watch. She started flying the ACAB flag in her bio and I confronted her about it. She literally wanted all cops anywhere in the world to die because they chose to be cops. I was mortified about just how bad she was. We talked a tad more and she even said how it would be fun if a civil war began because it'd be fun watching millions of people die. I blocked her. She was an awful person. I feel sorry for her husband who is in such an abusive relationship that he can't see whats happening. He stays with her, even though she abuses him. I don't understand why. 

However, when she flew the ACAB sign, and I had that talk with her. I started to see everyone who flies that same flag as just as crazy, just as terrible, as she is. You can't believe that, unless you're a dumbass. I'm sorry but, you cannot honestly believe that an entire group of people are bad, based on a few incidents of bad from said group. Seeing that phrase in someone's profile, brings back those bad memories of someone who I liked, showing just how terrible of a person she really was. Batshit crazy, awful person.

    Cops;
    A special note on cops. I have had several encounters with cops on duty and even been kicked out of a building with the use of cops once (wrongfully, honestly). So I've seen both ends of things, having been confronted by cops and watched them on duty dealing with someone else. Cops are trained to be intimidating. They aren't there to be a friend and give you a pat on the back as they escort you off the premises or whatever. If they are there for you, they will be intimidating. It makes you more likely to comply.

When they are dealing with someone else, they are considerably more friendly towards the locals, so long as the situation is handled. In a case where a crack head crashed into a nearby gas station, I was down there and the crack head was complying, cleaning up his mess, and the local officer was just there to keep the guy from escaping before the state police arrived. He was friendly, answered questions, we joked a bit. Nice guy really. But when they were dealing with the person who they were there for, intimidating, direct, and assertive.

Do I think police need a reform? Probably, in some cases. Its not some big massive issue that means all police everywhere need re-training or whatever, but we certainly could use some changes. Police need to stop protecting their own. If an officer is bad and you are an officer, go to your supervisor, go above your supervisor if they are in on it, go to the highest authority you can find till you find a way to get rid of the bad ones amongst your profession. Don't let bad cops stay cops just because you too are a cop. If you think your partner handled a situation badly, tell them so, tell your boss. Maybe your partner just needs to go through some additional training to be a better cop. Don't let things slide.

What I've seen, is that cops waste a lot of money though. They drive around in these big SUVs solo now all around town parking random places. Their parking lot is filled with a single kind of vehicle, these big gas guzzlers that are totally ridiculous. Whatever happened to police cars? We don't need police tanks everywhere. Come on. Be more efficient with your money, save the tax payers money and maybe they won't hate you so much.

A good thing for cops is body cams. Honestly, every cop should have an always on body cam. Impossible to turn off except when its plugged in at the station/home. This protects not only police from false accusations but also the people who are afraid of bad cops. You can't be bad if your actions are being recorded, nor can you be accused of anything bad if your actions are being recorded. Seriously, this is one area where that money could go, full time body cams. I want one myself and I'm just a random citizen.

    Side Note;
    Also, if you (a cop) see someone on the side of the road with a broken down vehicle, or even ebike, don't just drive past them like an inconsiderate jackass! I mean I get it if you have a specific task to do, but if you're roaming the roads just surveying for safety and such and you drive past someone who just popped their tire, perhaps you should stop and see if they need any kind of help. I use an ebike to travel, and the only way to town is the highway. Covered in nails. I've lost at least 10 inner tubes now in one year. Just a week ago I was struggling to push my ebike to a safer spot off the road when three police drove past me without a care in the world. One, sure, maybe he was busy or missed me. But three? Its happened every time I've had a flat. Here I am trying to get to a safe spot away from traffic struggling to push a heavy two wheeled vehicle and they just fly on by like its all good. :|
